The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has had a dramatic impact on all our lives since we first became aware of its existence in March 2020. Although we had hoped that this terrible virus would not last long and that a time of being isolated around the world would keep us safe; it is clear now that until a vaccine is in widespread use our lives may be forever changed.
Despite this, our purpose and priority at Falconhurst school is unchanged.
Our role is to ensure that all children are educated and cared for to the highest individual standard possible. Achieving excellent outcomes, securing strong rates of progress and developing into confident, caring well rounded children are our aims and therefore no amount of challenge from COVID-19 will stand in our way.
This link is here for you to find a range of helpful reminders from the NHS, examples of what our remote home learning looks like, reassurances of how we are working to keep our school ‘COVID secure’ and general updates as they arise.
The situation around us changes at a really fast pace, so if you cannot find what you are looking for here; you can either ring school directly, contact the NHS COVID helpline on 119 or visit https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus
