This post is perfect for someone who has experience in Early Years settings and who now wants to have more opportunity to design what is on offer for our amazing children.

You will:

  • Care deeply about our youngest children and want the best for them every day.
  • Have the confidence, experience and skill to further improve our nurturing and aspirational learning environment for children with additional needs
  • Liaise effectively with the Nursery Lead, EYFS Phase Leader and Inclusion Leader
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
  • Have excellent communication and inter personal skills suitable for children, staff and parents alike
  • Be openly committed to the vision and direction of the school
  • Be openly ambitious and aspirational for every child

You will:

  • Either have experience and confidence in supporting children with attachment needs or Speech, Language and Communication Needs.
  • Actively demonstrate a commitment to placing children at the centre of your daily work
  • Be able and willing to ensure that pupils are supported in their learning
  • Work well within a team and establish good working relationships
  • Have a good understanding of children and be able to communicate well with them
  • Have a caring personality with the ability to encourage good behaviour
  • Have the confidence and initiative to tackle challenges with flexibility and good humour
  • Plan, implement and review interventions and activities for your pupil
  • Be open to advice and guidance from other professionals
